It was also an opportunity to look at your rights and obligations in terms of taxation as a European public service worker.<\/p>\n<p>The situation of EU officials and other staff in Belgium, often expatriates, means, from a tax perspective, a complex set of rights, duties, obligations and privileges.<\/p>\n<p>To help you see more clearly in this cluttered landscape,<strong>\u00a0right in the period of the 2022 personal income tax declaration,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Union Syndicale\u00a0<\/strong>invites you to folow our\u00a0\u00a0Webinar:<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u00a0\u201c<strong>The (belgian) tax system and me\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Everything you need to know about your rights and privileges without forgetting anything about your obligations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s conference address, in particular, two topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Real estate taxation<\/strong>: what obligations and what tax burden for real estate located in Belgium?<\/li>\n<li><strong>Inheritance tax optimisation:<\/strong>\u00a0how to properly plan one\u2019s succession when a European civil servant owns one or more pieces of real estate located on Belgian territory?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>The conference was given in French Thursday 23 June 2022, and the documentation is available in FR.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are interested or if you have a question about taxation in Belgium and your status as a European civil servant, please contact Me Gossiaux.
