Solidarity with Ukraine: Support the International Aid Convoy
We are sharing this appeal on behalf of our affiliate, the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU), which is supporting an International Solidarity Convoy bringing humanitarian aid and essential equipment to Ukraine in cooperation with Ukrainian trade unions and solidarity networks.
As trade unionists, solidarity does not stop at borders. As Ukraine continues to endure the consequences of war, workers, families, emergency personnel and local communities are preparing for another challenging winter. The convoy aims to deliver urgently needed assistance to those most affected and is seeking support from trade unions and civil society organisations across Europe.
Support is needed through financial contributions, donations of aid items and, in particular, vehicles that can be used by medics, civil defence teams, logistics workers and humanitarian organisations. Every contribution can help strengthen this vital solidarity effort and provide practical assistance to people in need.
