YOU CAN APPEAL!
This 26 June, the list of colleagues proposed for reclassification is published and available in Sysper under the “promotion” tab.
If you are on that list: congratulations!!!
If your name is not on that list and you believe that you should be in line for promotion, all hope is not lost.
Union Syndicale suggests you appeal in order to defend your rights:
1. You have 5 working days, discounting justified absences, to lodge an appeal.
2. Your appeal should be:
- Factual,
- Concise,
- Based on your merits as related in your self-assessment and your evaluation,
- It should mention your level of responsibilities where appropriate,
- Highlight your use of languages and any exceptional work that you have carried out during 2021.
These appeals will be analysed in September with a view to a decision by the joint reclassification committees.
A final publication of those colleagues who are to be reclassified is expected in November.
The reclassification committees made up of representatives of staff and of colleagues appointed by the administration have a quota of 5% for such appeals.
