The conference (in French) on Belgian taxation was given to our members by Me Gossiaux in order to learn more about taxation in Belgium and, in particular, the tax treatment of real estate. It was also an opportunity to look at your rights and obligations in terms of taxation as a European public service worker.
The situation of EU officials and other staff in Belgium, often expatriates, means, from a tax perspective, a complex set of rights, duties, obligations and privileges.
To help you see more clearly in this cluttered landscape, right in the period of the 2022 personal income tax declaration, Union Syndicale invites you to folow our Webinar:
“The (belgian) tax system and me”
Everything you need to know about your rights and privileges without forgetting anything about your obligations
This year’s conference address, in particular, two topics:
- Real estate taxation: what obligations and what tax burden for real estate located in Belgium?
- Inheritance tax optimisation: how to properly plan one’s succession when a European civil servant owns one or more pieces of real estate located on Belgian territory?
The conference was given in French Thursday 23 June 2022, and the documentation is available in FR.
If you are interested or if you have a question about taxation in Belgium and your status as a European civil servant, please contact Me Gossiaux. If you are a USB member, you will benefit from a preferential rate on your consultations.
Please do not hesitate to send us your comments so that we can adapt these conferences to meet your expectations.
