Invitation to the Statutory General Meeting

Dear Members,
A new statutory General Meeting (GM) has to be convened. On 9 September 2025, the GM was unable to appoint the Electoral Bureau due to a lack of sufficient candidates (at least seven, from three different institutions). Therefore, the Executive Committee (EC) has decided, according to our RULES, to convene a Statutory General Meeting on Tuesday, 07 October 2025 at 6:00 PM. This meeting will be hybrid (in-person at Maison Union Syndicale and via Zoom ).
The nomination period is extended until the end of this Statutory General Meeting. The candidates who already sent their nomination papers are not required to do it again. Their nominations are still valid. The candidates for the EC and Audit Board can still send their nomination papers until the end of the GM on 7 October 2025.
Elections will be held once the Electoral Bureau launches the process. Without the Electoral Bureau, the election cannot start. Therefore, we encourage you to apply for the Electoral Bureau if you are not applying for the Executive Committee and Audit Board. The renewal of our union’s leadership, particularly the EC, is crucial for the future of our work and solidarity.
We strongly encourage all members to attend this important meeting and to register (please click here to register) in advance to ensure your participation. Whether or not you wish to stand as a candidate, your presence and voice are crucial.

Each candidate will be given one A4 page to present themselves to the voters. The deadline for submitting candidacies (and withdrawing them), along with presentation sheets, is at the close of the new Statutory General Assembly.
