Anita Bezrukova studied classic painting in Tallinn and since 1999 she held numerous solo exhibitions in Estonia, Kenya, Eritrea, Cyprus, Jordan, Qatar, Montenegro and Italy. For the exhibition in Brussels, Anita prepared a collection with an embroidery style invented by the artist herself which aims to catch the light while maintaining the feeling of softness and modern stylisation of familiar nature scenes. Some of the artworks are a combination of painting and embroidery.  Do not hesitate to consult her facebook page where she presents her latest works :

Embroidery artworks :

Embroidery is the craft of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread or yarn. Embroidery may also incorporate other materials such as pearls, beads, quills, and sequins. In modern days, embroidery is usually seen on caps, hats, coats, blankets, dress shirts, denim, dresses, stockings, and golf shirts. Embroidery is available with a wide variety of thread or yarn color.
